After a years of training doing Pam was invited to speak to professor Tracey Caponera's Hospitality class at Delhi / Schenectady Community College this month. The topic was marketing with no budget which Pam as president AYS along with her husband Michael principal of AYS Consulting has made affordable marketing an important of the business and has rolled out these techniques to their clients. Pam also was a part of a panel discussion in March to the Albany Colonie Chamber's entrepreneurial assistance program explaining to students who would like to start or build a small business how even if you do all right things in business, unforeseen circumstances can happen. She explained how AYS was affected in 2009 by a tax audit, non paying client and having to incorporate to purchase health insurance all unanticipated costly expenses. Happy New Year from AYS. 2009 has gone and we now are in the new decade with many challenges and success to come. We will soon be celebrating our 4th year of operations and looking forward to continuing to help our clients reach their goals and milestones in the new decade. We closed the year out with the launch of Construction Innovations web site and the re launch of a completely rebuilt site for Literacy Connections. Pam became gift basket central delivering over 60 baskets to company's which allowed them to look great giving them to their clients. services. December is here and we are in the Holidays. At Your Service is as always here to help you "make your stress our stress" with both our Holiday Services and Grocery Shopping Service. Whether it is the holiday dinner party or just making sure the refrigerator is stocked we can take care of it for you. Just send us your list and you come home to all of your groceries packed away and you never had to set foot in the grocery store. Our many holiday services include gift shopping, sending out your packages, gift baskets and more just ask. The summer of 2009 was the busiest ever with lots of vacation home and plant sitting requests, organization, client shopping, party event planning and lots of web sites for At Your Service Consulting. All while training for the Marine Corps half marathon in October. The fall is off and running with the introduction of our custom Facebook fan pages and to come, small business training. Pam Howard to Chair Small Business Council: Pam Howard has been nominated to chair the Albany Regional Chamber of Commerce Small Business Council in 2009. In this position, Pam will lead the SBC in a year long series of programs and workshops based around the theme ROADMAP TO SUCCESS. Carol Buckley has been hired to coordinate the Hotel Reader Board Service in the Saratoga market, as well as being on-call for errands. At Your Service turns TWO! March welcomed our 2 year anniversary of providing premier concierge and consulting services to the Capital District. We couldn't have done it without the support of all of our customers, friends and vendors. Now into our third year we will continue to expand our services to meet the demands of busy people and companies. Just some of the services we have recently seen increased requests for is grocery shopping. Gone are the days when spending a couple of hours getting the week's shopping done is a pleasurable activity. Our clients now email us the list and we bring the grocery's to them and even put them away.
